Collaborative Drawing Study

It's talking and walking around, working, dancing, suffering, some irreducible convergence of all three, held under the name of speculative practice." – Fred MotenThese video experiments shows two drawings. One is linear and had the artists place objects on the lawn canvas in a specific order, and the second is non-linear, allowing the artists to choose when and where to place their objects within a span of 5 minutes. The drawings capture an arrangement of object but the magic is in the movement of bodies and shadows in space.Project, completed at at DesignInquiry in Vinalhaven, Maine, summer of 2024.
