Experiment with blackout / erasure poetry. This project reimagines an existing text, Remodeling Old Houses Without Destroying Their Character by George Stephen (1972).

The addition of black marks and illustrations changes the text for readers in 2020 amidst the pandemic and racial reckoning.

many of the wrong things can be done
good can be achieved in most instances by the average person
old fashioned in quaintly bad taste
public disaster! many well-intentioned persons are often mediocre or bad
